I just can't seem to keep up with this blogging stuff on a regular basis. And it seems that disorder seems to be slowly creeping back into my world. For me, I have to remind myself of the little things that help to create a home that's more of order instead of disorder. For example, we have what seems like 50 foot ceilings in our living room. They're not really 50 feet, but when a light bulb blows, you wait until all three have blown out before getting out the 12 foot ladder to change them! All three bulbs had been out for about a week, so yesterday was the day to finally change them. And while, you're changing the light bulbs you might as well clean all the dust and grime from the ceiling fan. There's just something about having a clean ceiling fan that brings a sigh of relief. Like I said, it's the little things sometimes that help create some sense of order!
Another example, it's consignment sale season. I spent most of this week going through the kids clothes, hanging and tagging items. It's not the most fun thing (it's way more fun to shop!) but I did get 100 or so items out of the house. Spring Break is in a couple of weeks and we are staying home, so I have two plans. One is to potty train my almost 2 year old and the second is to do some major spring cleaning. I'll check back in and let you know how if I succeed!
In the meantime, here's what we're eating this week:
Monday- Pioneer Woman's Pork Chops with Pineapple Fried Rice (this is a new recipe, so we'll see how it goes over, especially since the hubby doesn't like pineapple)
Tuesday- Chili
Wednesday- dinner at church
The meals for the rest of the week haven't been decided on yet!
